As the name states it, the primary job of a safety consultant is to make sure that the workplace is safe to work in. Regarding this duty, he needs to perform regular inspections as agreed on the contract and ensure that everything is working according to the plan. this would include making sure that the employees are well trained, warning signs are in place and hazardous items such as electric wiring or chemicals are stored and disposed of in the right manner and the employees are using the right equipment to deal with such hazardous items.

When it comes to safety, the employees of a workplace are the ones that are most concerned because the manager is not going to performing any action so it is important that the employees are well trained well that is where the safety consultant comes it. His job is to train the employees and teach them how to use specific items or tech to deal with dangerous and life threatening items. So his duty is to give safety lessons to the employees.
- Develop Safety Manuals
Every workplace needs a safety manual so who is better equipped with the knowledge of developing one for a workplace than a Safety consultant. So it is the job of a safety consultant to inspect the workplace and then figure out everything that requires safety measures and include those measures in a manual so that every employee of the organization can get his or her hands on it.
